We've migrated our Basic Access Account and Statement Savings Account to an Everyday Account that offers great everyday value. 

Have you noticed any changes to your accounts? Below are some frequently asked questions you might have. 

Account migration

Migration is simply the process of converting your existing account to another type that offers better features or value.

We’re always improving our products to ensure our customer needs are met. Simplifying our accounts gives you access to better value and benefits for your everyday banking.

You won’t have to change anything as part of this migration process. Your account number, details and scheduled payments will all remain the same. You may have noticed your account name has changed in the app or internet banking if you did not have a nickname assigned to your account. To change your account nickname see below.

Yes your card, including any digital card in your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, will still work as normal.

There will be no changes to any of your existing payments via direct debit, recurring payments or scheduled payments set up on your account.

Our Everyday Account comes with some great features including no monthly account keeping fees and unlimited transactions, plus your account number and BSB will stay the same so you won’t need to make any changes to your cards or direct debits. Once your account is migrated you won’t be charged excess transaction fees for the month in which the account is converted. Our Everyday Banking Product Schedule has more information about applicable fees for the Everyday Account.

 

We’re always reviewing our accounts to make sure they still meet our customer needs. If there are any other changes in the future, we’ll communicate this with customers before they happen.

To change your account nickname:

  1. Log on to the app
  2. Select the account you want to update
  3. In the top right hand corner of the screen select the 3 dots and then select Rename account
  4. Enter what nickname you want this account to have and then select Done.

To reorder your accounts:

  1. Log into the app
  2. Select Customise > Reorder accounts
  3. Hold and drag to reorder accounts

Changes were only recently made to our Everyday Account and now we can offer fee-free everyday banking on this account type.
