In recent months, as part of our strategic planning process, we have identified and implemented some changes which have affected the scope of some existing roles, the creation of new roles and teams, and the removal of some roles that are no longer required to deliver our services.
The wellbeing of our nearly 1,000 people remains our priority as we continue on our journey of transformation.
We are committed to supporting our people and where possible, we have redeployed staff, however in some cases there have not been any suitable roles, or people have chosen to pursue other opportunities outside of Newcastle Permanent. In total, this has resulted in 16 redundancies that were all effective by the end of June.
As a customer-owned organisation, we are focussed on using our customers’ funds responsibly and efficiently, to best deliver exceptional value and outstanding service.
