Calling it cut on cinema

Our much-loved Cinema Under the Stars summer program is set to wrap up shortly.

This summer, we hosted nine jam-packed cinema events across regional NSW – Gosford, Coffs Harbour, Mudgee, Orange, Forster, Port Macquarie, Tamworth, and Armidale – with thousands of local families joining us for a free fun-filled evening under the stars.

Due to inclement weather experienced in Maitland, Lake Macquarie and Lismore, these events unfortunately could not proceed as planned, however we are instead excited to bring a special spring edition of Cinema Under the Stars to these communities once the warmer weather and daylight savings returns.

This year’s events were filled with good vibes, local live music, fun activities for the kids as well as plenty of fresh, salty popcorn.

At sundown, the big screen lit up for an open-air screening of Minions: The Rise of Gru – which filled our events with lots of laughs, and even some dancing on account of the movie’s groovy soundtrack.

Thank you to everyone who has joined us so far for our 15th Cinema Under the Stars season. As a customer-owned organisation, we love bringing this event to our regional communities.
