Our staff love to lend a hand, especially for a great cause!

Friday 15 April, 2016.

On Friday 15 April a variety of Newcastle Permanent team members rolled up their sleeves to take part in the Annual Volunteer Clean up Blitz for the Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children (RIDBC) at their Floraville facility.

RIDBC Floraville works with Hunter families to provide a wide range of quality and innovative educational programs and services for children with hearing or vision loss from birth to school age.

Using one of their two available Community Leave Days staff tackled a variety of tasks throughout the day including, gardening, cleaning the preschool and early learning centre, organising the toy library, cleaning toys and making braille books for students.
