We’re celebrating 10 years of supporting grassroots football!

In addition to providing great value banking products and services, we give back to our customers and local communities by supporting programs that help families lead happy, healthy and active lives.

Team sports are a great way for families to get active and connect with their local community, that’s why we’re proud to support grassroots football across Northern NSW. This year, we’re celebrating 10 years of partnership with Northern NSW Football and over that time we’ve supported grassroots football by: 

• Giving away more than 50,000 FREE footballs to entry level players to encourage participation;
• Delivering more than 150 free coaching courses;
• Introducing a Community Awards Program to recognise and encourage the hard work and dedication that volunteers provide to the sport; and
• Introducing a Referee Recognition Program, including Referee Recognition Week to assist with identifying and eliminating abuse towards match officials. 

As 2018 shapes up to be a bumper year for football, with the Socceroos and Matildas heading to the World Cup in Russia and the State Government offering a $100 Active Kids voucher, we’re excited to announce that our Community Football Partnership with Northern NSW Football will continue for another three years. 

Supporting grassroots football through our community sponsorship program is just one of the many ways we’re giving back to the customers and communities that support us.
