How can I dispute a transaction?

How can I dispute a transaction?

If you notice an unauthorised or suspicious transaction on your account, contact us immediately, as dispute timeframes apply.

You can report the transaction by:

  1. Logging on to internet banking

  2. Navigating to Accounts > Dispute a transaction

  3. Entering your details and following the prompts

Alternatively, call us on 13 19 87 or or visit your local branch.

To help protect your accounts, you can reduce your payment limit or place a temporary block on your card(s). Please note that if you reduce your payment limit to $0 or block your cards, you will need to contact us to increase your limit or remove the block.

If the transaction cannot be resolved directly with the merchant or service provider, we may be able to assist through Visa's dispute process. To investigate the transaction, we may require you to block your card and provide any available information or supporting documentation. Visa dispute processes are subject to specific eligibility requirements, rules and timeframes, and some disputes can take up to 180 days to be resolved.
