Our heart, our community

Supporting the community is in our DNA, and we’re thrilled that we can give back to the communities that support us.

Through our community partnerships, staff donations, volunteering and fundraising we invest over $2 million each year to help Australian families lead healthy, active and happy lives.

This past year has seen us continuing our involvement in Surf Lifesaving, Northern NSW Football and everyone’s favourite, Cinema Under the Stars. Our staff also participate in a range of programs as part of the CommunityAssist program to give support to many charities and community groups. Staff donations also helped deliver hay to farmers struggling with drought conditions, provided a Cuddle Cot system to hospitals for Bears of Hope and supported the operational cost of flight services for Little Wings.

During the past 16 years the Charitable Foundation has distributed almost $20 million in grants to help re-write the future for disadvantaged and marginalised members of our communities throughout regional NSW.

With communities struggling with the ongoing drought conditions and the devastating fires in our regional areas, to help provide some relief $25,000 was donated to the The Salvation Army’s Bushfire Disaster Appeal. We have also activated relief measures to help reduce the financial pressure on our customers.
