What is biometric identity verification?

Biometric identity verification helps us confirm you are who you say you are. To do this, we use a trusted third-party provider called IDVerse.

You'll be asked to upload a photo of a valid photo ID, such as an Australian driver licence or passport, and then take a selfie. IDVerse compares your selfie with the photo on your ID and checks that you're a real person. This helps us securely verify your identity and protect against fraud.
