Newcastle Permanent will never ask you to divulge personal information via email

We are aware that some members have received an email that appears to be from Newcastle Permanent advising of a system error and asking members to validate their details by selecting a link, entering their logon details and providing additional personal information including driver’s licence and date of birth.

If you have received an email like this do not reply to or follow any of the instructions provided, regardless of how genuine they may appear.

Newcastle Permanent will never:

  • Send you unsolicited emails regarding your financial affairs.

  • Pass on your personal details including email address to anyone without your consent.

  • Ask you to divulge personal information (such as your name and address, password or access code or credit card details) in relation to your accounts or services via an email, SMS message or a web page.

If you have mistakenly responded to this email or you notice anything suspicious in relation to Internet or Mobile Banking, please call us on 13 19 87 or (02) 4907 6501.
