Hello to you all,
It’s now been three months since I joined as CEO at Newcastle Permanent, and this is my first digital newsletter.
First of all I would like to thank you for the warm welcome that I have had. I am enjoying settling into the Novocastrian lifestyle and taking every opportunity to explore more of this beautiful city and its surrounds.
I have been out to visit quite a few branches, and am looking forward to getting around to many more. I am also hoping that I get to meet a number of you at our upcoming Cinema Under the Stars events, where I will be visiting some local sites and also getting a bit further afield.
One of the main reasons I joined Newcastle Permanent was because of our focus on you, our customers and your experiences. While we are delighted to have received more monthly No. 1 rankings for customer satisfaction in the nationally-recognised Roy Morgan Customer Satisfaction Report than any other financial institution in Australia this year, we will never take that for granted.
It is our vision to be Australia’s favourite banking experience, and in order to do that, we’re working to upgrade and transform our products and services here at Newcastle Permanent. I’ve been impressed with the highly skilled team here at Newcastle Permanent, who all bring commitment and passion to continuously innovate our services for your added financial security and prosperity.
Technology and the way we interact with it, is rapidly changing the banking experience for all Australians. In the months ahead, we’ll share with you some more about the improvements we have planned. We want you to feel the benefits of those improvements throughout your banking experience, either on the go, at home or even on the other side of the world.
