Typically these are the items you will need to supply when applying for a personal loan, so before you apply ensure you have them readily available.
Proof of income
- You’ll need to show us your two most recent payslips, or if you’re self-employed, we’ll need your full individual tax returns and accountant-prepared financial statements for the last two years
- If you receive an Aged, Disability, or Veterans Affairs Pension, you’ll need to supply us with a statement of income from Centrelink no more than 6 weeks old.
Personal identification
You'll need to show one of the following forms of photo ID as either originals or verified copies:
- Passport
- Australian driver’s licence
- Photo card.
Secondary identification options
If you don’t have any of the photo ID options above, we’ll need to see two of the following (as original documents or verified copies):
- Birth certificate
- Citizenship certificate
- Pension card or health care card
- Rates or utility bills or ATO assessment notice or other current NSW photo licence (only one of these may be used) must be issued within the preceding 3 months).
Items needed for a secured car loan
For a secured car loan you'll also need to provide:
- Evidence of 12-month comprehensive car insurance
- A copy of the current registration papers
- A tax invoice for the car you’re buying, that includes: car registration number, vehicle ID number (VIN) or chassis number, engine number, purchase price.
