Discounted interest rates will vary depending on if the loan is owner occupied or for investment purposes, the type of repayments (principal and interest or interest only) and the applicable Loan to Valuation Ratio (LVR). Exclusions apply.

***Discounted interest rates are available for new borrowers applying for a Premium Plus Package Home Loan for an owner occupied home with principal and interest repayments with a minimum balance of $150,000. Existing Newcastle Permanent customers are eligible to receive the discounted interest rate if: 
•they have a Premium Plus Package Home Loan for an owner occupied home with principal and interest repayments and they increase it by a minimum of $150,000 in new borrowings; or 
•they convert an existing Newcastle Permanent loan to a Premium Plus Package Home Loan for an owner occupied home with principal and interest repayments and they increase it by a minimum of $150,000 in new borrowings.  
Converted borrowings do not constitute new borrowings. The discounted interest rate is determined by reference to the applicable Loan to Valuation Ratio (LVR). At the current time, the LVR requirements are as follows:
Discount 1 - For loans with an LVR of less than 90%, a discount of 0.73% is deducted from the Tier 4 Premium Plus Package Variable Rate. 
Discount 2 - For loans with an LVR of equal to or greater than 90% and less than 95%, a discount of 0.63% is deducted from the Tier 4 Premium Plus Package Variable Rate.

~~Discounted interest rates are available for new borrowers applying for a Premium Plus Package Variable Home Loan for investment purposes with principal and interest repayments with a minimum balance of $150,000 and a Loan to Value Ratio (LVR) of less than 80% a discount of 0.80% will be deducted from the Premium Plus Package Variable Rate Tier 4 Investment. Existing Newcastle Permanent customers are eligible to receive the discounted interest rate if:
•they have a Premium Plus Package Home Loan for investment purposes with principal and interest repayments and with an LVR of less than 80%, and they increase it by a minimum of $150,000 in new borrowings; or
•they convert an existing Newcastle Permanent loan to a Premium Plus Package Home Loan for investment purposes with principal and interest repayments and with an LVR or less than 80% and they increase it by a minimum of $150,000 in new borrowings.
Converted borrowings do not constitute new borrowings.
