Osko by BPAY® lets you pay and get paid in near real-time.

Osko by BPAY® is a payment service that lets you make and receive payments faster, 24/7 between any participating financial institution. Rather than waiting hours or days for money from someone who uses a different bank, your money can now be transferred in near real-time. 

Osko comes in handy when sharing a bill at a group dinner, paying a friend back for a coffee or for a drink at a bar, or even paying a tradesperson on the spot. Osko makes online payments easier than ever before.

Although all Osko payments are monitored for fraud, customers should still remain alert to the possibility of cons and scams; particularly if you receive unexpected requests via social media, emails or SMS for urgent payments or account information.

As long as you’re registered for Internet Banking you can select the option to make an Osko payment, either through Internet Banking or our Mobile Banking app. If your account is currently able to receive a payment it will also be ready to receive an Osko payment, no additional registration is required.

How to use Osko on your:

  • Log on to your mobile banking app;
  • The payment options will be listed at the bottom of the home page;
  • Select ‘Osko’ payment option;
  • Select Payee;
  • Select ‘From account’ and complete the payment details by entering the amount, description and payment date;
  • Review and confirm payment;
  • DONE, payment completed!
  • Log on to your Mobile Banking app;
  • The payment options will be listed at the bottom of the home page; 
  • Select ‘Osko’ payment option;
  • Select ‘+ New’ (top right of the screen) to add a new payee;
  • Select ‘Account details’ at the top left and complete the remaining details; 
  • Select ‘Continue’;
  • Select ‘From account’ and complete the payment details by entering the amount, description and payment date;
  • Review and confirm payment;
  • DONE, payment completed!
  • Log on to your Mobile Banking app;
  • The payment options will be listed at the bottom of the home page;
  • Select ‘Osko’ payment option;
  • Select ‘+ New’ (top right of the screen) to add a new payee;
  • Select ‘PayID’ at the top right;
  • From the drop down options, select the PayID type (e.g. the person’s/payee’s email or mobile number);
  • Once you have entered the phone number or email address (or lookup your phones contact lists), tap ‘Verify PayID’;
  • This will then lookup the PayID of the person you want to pay. If you are happy that this is the same person, you can add a Payee Nickname and a description for your own reference;
  • Select ‘Continue’;
  • Select ‘From account’ and complete the payment details by entering the amount, description and payment date;
  • Review and confirm payment;
  • DONE, payment completed!
  • Log on to Internet Banking;
  • Navigate to Payments, and then select ‘Osko’ as the payment type from the options under Transfers & BPAY;
  • Select the ‘From account’ to be debited and the Payee account to be credited. An Osko payment can also use a PayID in place of a traditional BSB and account number;
  • Enter the description for the Payee which can include up to 280 characters;
  • Enter the amount of the payment;
  • Nominate whether the transfer is a one-off or recurring transfer;
  • Enter the transfer date;
  • Click ‘Continue’ to confirm details.
