It’s been almost a year since we announced a proposal to merge Newcastle Permanent with Greater Bank. Since then, both Boards have unanimously endorsed the merger proposal that will bring our two local organisations together to create a regional financial powerhouse that’s 100% customer owned.
We’re currently working through regulatory requirements and hope to hold a meeting for eligible members to approve the merger later this year.
