Hello everyone,

With the global COVID-19 outbreak continuing to affect our everyday lives, Newcastle Permanent is absolutely committed to doing our part and adapting to meet the changing needs and preferences of our customers.

Through this unusual and challenging period, we will be true to our purpose. We will be here for each other, our customers and our community, as we have for 117 years. The safety and wellbeing of our people and customers is paramount. We have implemented additional cleaning and preventative hygiene measures along with social distancing to allow the continuation of our day to day operations. Effective Saturday 9th May, the hours of our Hunter-based Customer Contact Centre will be extended and the number of branches open on Saturdays will be limited.

We know that some of our customers have been financially affected by the measures being taken to limit the spread of the virus. We encourage these people to talk to us, and we have retrained more than 30 staff to support the increased demand for the Customer Contact Centre and Customer Hardship Assistance team.

Newcastle Permanent plays a fundamental role in supporting customers and communities through challenges such as this. As our customer, you can feel confident you can continue to access your funds and transact as usual, and that our lending facilities remain available to our community. We are also working closely with our partners and suppliers to ensure continued operations and service.
