Newcastle Permanent has announced that new CEO, Bernadette Inglis, will begin in the role on 01 July 2019.
Bernadette was announced as the new CEO in December last year, following the departure of Terry Millett, after serving in the role for 10 years.
Chair Jeff Eather said plans were underway for Bernadette to handover from Acting CEO Mark Williams, who has served in the role since Terry’s departure. Mark will return to his permanent role as Chief Operations Officer.
“We’re excited that Bernadette will be on board shortly, and are confident that she will receive an extremely warm welcome from our team and customers.
“This is an exciting time for our organisation as we embrace the guidance of an eminently talented and experienced retail banking leader to continue our mission to provide a better way of banking to our customers,” Jeff said.
