The Workplace Gender Equality Agency (“Agency”) WGEA is an Australian Government statutory agency created by the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 (“the Act”). The Agency is charged with promoting and improving gender equality in the workplace.
The Act requires organisations who employ more than 100 employees to submit a report to the Agency between 1 April and 31 May each year for the preceding twelve month period (1 April – 31 March).
What is in the report? The report includes a workplace profile of the number of male and female employees within the organisation broken down into manager and non-manager positions, as well as a questionnaire in relation to the policies and strategies we have in place to address gender equality across a number of different areas within the organisation.
Under the Act, we are required to notify our employees and members when we have prepared and submitted this report to the Agency.
This report is available to download. If you have any queries, please contact us on 13 19 87.
