In March, Newcastle Permanent Building Society announced the appointment of Margie Haseltine as a Non-Executive Director to its Board.
Ms Haseltine is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, has attended Harvard University’s General Manager School, and holds a number of leadership qualifications.
Newcastle Permanent Building Society Chair Jeff Eather said the appointment recognised Ms Haseltine’s qualifications and directorial experience.
"On behalf of the Board of Directors, I’m delighted to welcome Margie to Newcastle Permanent," Mr Eather said.
"Margie brings with her more than a decade of board experience and a highly successful executive career with Mars Incorporated.
"Margie’s experience in change management, information technology, and strategic procurement adds to the existing depth and breadth of our Board of Directors. I am confident her skills will complement those of the other Newcastle Permanent Directors. The appointment of Ms Haseltine also underlines Newcastle Permanent’s commitment to a corporate culture that supports diversity in the workplace and on the Board, supported by our Diversity Policy.

Ms Haseltine joins other Directors Jeff Eather (Chair), Ross Griffiths, Jennifer Leslie, Samantha Martin-Williams, Phil Neat, and David Shanley.
