Mozo Director of Marketing and Communications Kirsty Lamont said the comparison service analysed almost 240 personal loans from 73 providers to identify Australia’s most competitive personal loans across several categories including Car Loan, Secured Personal Loan, Unsecured Personal Loan, and Excellent Credit Personal Loan.
"This year’s research has been exhaustive with 239 personal loans under the judge’s microscope. To be ranked in the top 10% of personal loans in the market, given such tough competition, is a real indicator of a top value product,” said Ms Lamont said.
When presenting the awards Mozo recognised the excellent value Newcastle Permanent provides to its customers.
More awards came in December with our Personal Loan, Unsecured being awarded Canstar’s Five Star Award. During the month, Newcastle Permanent was also named a finalist in the 2018 RFi Australian Lending Awards categories of Best Unsecured Personal Loan Lender and Best Mutual categories.

Our Owner Occupied - 3 Year Fixed home loan also took out the top prize in its category at the Finder Awards. These added to several other awards in 2017 from Canstar and Money Magazine.
