The Workplace Gender Equality Agency is an Australian Government statutory agency created by the Workplace Gender Act 2012. The agency is charged with promoting and improving gender equality in the workplace.

The Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 requires organisations who employ more than 100 employees to submit a report to the Workplace Gender Equality Agency between 1 April and 31 May each year for the preceding twelve month period (1 April – 31 March).

What is in the report? The report includes a workplace profile of the number of male and female employees within the organisation broken down into manager and non-manager positions, as well as a questionnaire in relation to the policies or strategies we have to address gender equality across a number of different areas within the organisation.

Under the Act, we are required to notify our employees and members when we have prepared and submitted this report.
