Tamworth and Ballina Running Festivals were held in perfect weather on Sunday, 6 August, as the starter’s gun marked the commencement of our running season.
The enthusiastic local Newcastle Permanent teams were on-hand at both events to hydrate about 600 runners with bottled water and cheer on participants at the finish lines.
Congratulations to the Tamworth Tri Club and Ballina Lions Clubs for again hosting these successful events, and to the winners who valiantly took home the rewards.

Some furry friends joined the race in Tamworth, too, including Tucky the assistance dog and owner Rebecca Linich who completed the half marathon for the second year in a row.
