Kicking us off in 2018 is the Singleton event on Friday 5th of January at Allan Bull Reserve. The beautiful Port Stephens peninsular is up next for the first time ever. Tomaree Sports Complex, Nelson Bay will host the inaugural event and will feature popular animation, The Secret Life of Pets.
The biggest event on the Cinema Under the Stars calendar will come on Saturday 13th of January, when Sing is shown in Newcastle’s King Edward Park. The flagship event will feature plenty of entertainment with musical performances from The Wild Oats, Joe Mungovan and headline act Bad Pony.
Maitland and Central Coast events will follow on Friday 19th of January and Saturday 20th of January, respectively.
Grafton, Coffs Harbour, Tamworth and Armidale events are set to fill the diary in February, leaving us to wrap up the season in Taree on Friday 16th of February.
Joining us again for the entire second half of the season is folk artist Joe Mungovan to warm up the crowds. Circus in Education and small-sided football are available for the kids to practise their skills and burn some energy before settling in for the movie at sundown.
It’s set to be a huge second half of the season with plenty of fun for whole family. Pack a picnic, gather your friends and get yourself to a Cinema Under the Stars event near you.
