Newcastle Permanent’s Cinema Under the Stars, free outdoor cinema program travels to 17 beautiful locations throughout regional New South Wales during the warmer months.

To date our Newcastle event has drawn the biggest crowds of the season and we hope you can join us to celebrate our 11th season.

The toe-tapping animation, Sing will light up on the big screen as the sun sets on King Edward Park and the stars come out.

Enjoy the family-friendly entertainment prior to the movie with circus workshops by Circus in Education, small-sided football and live musicians on stage.

Bring your camera along to get a photo with one of the characters from Sing who will be making an appearance at the event.

The movie will commence on the big screen once the sun has set.

Now faced with the crumbling of his life's ambition, he has one final chance to restore his fading jewel to its former glory by producing the world's greatest singing competition.
