We get a real kick out of supporting community football throughout Northern NSW.

Creating local football superstars

We’re committed to providing opportunities for families to lead happy, healthy and active lives, and are proud to support Northern NSW Football as the Official Partner of Community Football.

As part of the football family we support players and families by helping keep registration fees as low as possible and providing entry level players with a free ball and shin pads. Coaches, clubs and zones  also benefit from our partnership, receiving support and funding for essential equipment and assistance for grassroots coaches to obtain their coaching accreditation free of charge.

Newcastle Permanent’s Grand Final Series recognises the outstanding performance of players, teams and clubs in each zone throughout the season.

Newcastle Permanent’s ‘Volunteer of the Month’ acknowledges the incredible commitment our volunteers make to football. Monthly award winners will receive volunteers’ gear and may have the opportunity to represent their zone in the Newcastle Permanent ‘Volunteer of the Year’ award. This is our way of saying ‘thank you’ for all our volunteers do for this great sport.

Newcastle Permanent’s Community Coach of the Month award allows clubs and zones to recognise the outstanding work their coaches do both on and off the field. Monthly award winners will receive a Community Coaching Kit and may be nominated by their zone for the Newcastle Permanent ‘Community Coach of the Year’.

Newcastle Permanent’s Play Maker Award is awarded to a club each month in recognition of the significant contribution the club has made to their local community. Clubs can be nominated for the work they do to promote football, club activities within the community, commitment to coaching, volunteer management or any other activities that give back to their community. Winning clubs receive vouchers to purchase equipment for their club.

Zones can nominate one club each year for Newcastle Permanent’s Community Club of the Year Award. All nominated clubs will be assessed on the contribution to football and their local community. The winning club will receive vouchers to purchase equipment for their club.

Newcastle Permanent’s Football Volunteer Training Series provides opportunities for clubs to take advantage of free education seminars structured to meets the specific needs of the club.

Newcastle Permanent’s community coaching master-classes offer coaches additional training and support to help them get the best out of their young players.
