King Edward Park, Newcastle

Newcastle’s newest festive event, Newcastle Permanent’s Christmas Under the Stars, is coming to our iconic King Edward Park this December, brought to you by the City of Newcastle and Newcastle Herald!

The event will bring some of the finest Hunter performers together for a night full of Christmas carols and cheer, but it won’t end there. Once the sun is down and the carols sung, our huge inflatable screen will light up for a special outdoor screening of the Christmas family favourite, Elf.

This free event will start from 5.30pm with Jackson and Matty from The NOVO's on 105.3 NEW FM hosting the evening. To keep updated, please visit our Facebook page and "like" us.

Be sure to get in early to secure a great spot, soak up the atmosphere and enjoy special appearances from Santa and Newcastle Permanent’s much-loved community mascot, Herbie. We’ll also have a collection point onsite for The Salvation Army’s Christmas Appeal, so be sure to bring a toy or gift voucher for those in need this Christmas.

Please note we will be filming and photographing this event. Please see below for further information.
