Carols 2018

The City of Newcastle Carols by Candlelight presented by Newcastle Herald and Newcastle Permanent

Where: King Edward Park 

Set in the backdrop of iconic King Edward Park, The City of Newcastle Carols by Candlelight presented by Newcastle Herald and Newcastle Permanent is a staple of the festive season. 

Pack a picnic and settle in for an evening of Christmas performances from a host of local artists.

This free event starts at 5.30pm with free carnival rides for the children. Carols commence at 7.00pm.

Get in early to secure a great spot and soak up the atmosphere.

Free parking is available in King Street (East) Car Park supported by a free shuttle service from 5.00pm to 9.30pm.

There will be coffee and food vans, along with a special visit from Santa on the night!

Don’t forget to bring a gift to donate to The Salvation Army Toy Drive. A collection point will be set up accepting toy and gift voucher donations.

Medowie Christmas Carnival

Formally known as Rotary Medowie Carols, this year the event will be revamped and transformed into a magical, fun-filled family event.

Medowie Christmas Carnival will feature a range of children’s rides and amusements, market stalls, food vendors, live music, schools and community group performances, and of course, Carols! 

Bring a picnic blanket, relax and enjoy the festive atmosphere!

Cessnock Carols in the Park
