Personal cheque book

You can apply for a personal cheque book if your account is a:

• Spend Account
• Statement Savings Account
• Special Monthly Interest Account (Statement)
• Mortgage Offset Account

Benefits

• A convenient alternative to using cash or over the counter cheques.
• Access your funds away from our branches and where no electronic banking facilities are available.
• No limit on the value of the personal cheques you write, provided you have sufficient funds in your account.
• Personal cheques can be less risky than carrying large sums of cash.

Am I eligible?

Access to a personal cheque book is subject to our approval. You can complete an application at any of our branches. We will consider things like your credit history, residential history and employment situation when assessing your application.

Are you under 18 years of age?

If you are under 18 years of age, access to a personal cheque book is not usually available. We will consider an application if the account is held in joint names with a parent or guardian.

How can I re-order a cheque book?

• Visit any of our branches.
• Call our Member Support Centre on 13 19 87.
• Order one via Phone banking or
• Internet Banking (go to the Other Services tab).
