How to apply for a Value+ Credit Card
In order to apply for a Value+ Credit Card, you can either apply online or download an application form and return it to us.
For a credit limit increase on your existing Value+ Credit Card or to transfer your store or other credit card balances to Newcastle Permanent, please complete the following application forms:
Who can apply?
To be eligible to apply for a Value+ Credit Card, you will need to meet the following criteria:
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Earn at least $20,000 p.a.
- Be a permanent Australian resident
What information will you need to provide?
To complete your application you will need to provide the following information:
- Your Australian Drivers licence (if applicable)
- Employment details
- Details of your income, assets and liabilities
- Information about any additional card holders (if applicable)
To assist with processing your application, please provide your most recent payslip. If self-employed please provide your last 2 years financial statements plus your last 2 years personal tax returns.
How long will my application take?
The online application should only take 10 -15 minutes to complete. Once we have all of the documentation we need, we will process your application within 5 business days and let you know the outcome in writing within 10 business days.
Identification
You may be asked to provide identification. You can do this by visiting:
- any of our branches - please refer to our information regarding the ID check
- any Australia Post office - please print the identification form and provide the acceptable identification documents

If you choose to print and complete the application forms, you will need to return it to any of our branches, or mail it to:
