Payment Alerts
Payment Alerts are only for future dated or periodic transfers on or above the nominated amount that have been set up on Internet Banking. For example, you could set up on Internet Banking that if a debit greater than $1,000 is made from your savings account you would be notified by SMS.
On the Payments Alerts screen is a list of the account alerts you have requested. You can add new alerts or delete from this list at any time. It is not possible to edit an alert. You will need to delete the existing alert and request a new alert for the account.
Below this list are two drop down selection boxes you can use to set up your Payment Alerts.
To request a new Payment Alert:
- Go to SMS in the menu
- Make sure you have turned on SMS Services.
- Select the Payment Alerts tab
- Select the Account you wish to apply the alert to
- Select the Amount that you wish to receive an alert for. Any future dated or periodic Internet Banking payments over this amount will trigger an alert. You will not receive alerts for immediate payments or transfers.
- Select Add to add the selected SMS service to your Payment Alerts
To delete a Payment Alert:
- Go to SMS in the menu
- Select the Payment Alerts tab
- Select the relevant SMS Payment Alert in the list
- Click Delete
- When the confirmation message displays, select OK to continue and delete this service, or Cancel to leave this service unchanged.
