Internet Banking Home

This is your Home Page when you first log on to Internet Banking. Here you will find a number of details about the accounts you have registered for Internet Banking, including the balance and available balance in your accounts. You will see alerts if you have any unread messages, authorisations awaiting action, and you can view pending payments from your accounts.

My Account

My Accounts list contains details of your accounts including your Quick Access Numbers (QANs), Account Numbers, Account Names, Balances and Available Balances of your registered accounts.

  • QAN - The Quick Access Numbers (QAN) is an identification number for each of your registered accounts that can be used for phone banking and SMS account balance or transaction enquiries. Your Quick Access Number can be set by selecting the 'SMS' option from the left hand menu and then selecting the 'Quick Access Number' tab.
  • Account Number - This is your account identification number for each registered account.
  • Account Name - This is the name of your account.  You can use the 'My account description' function to rename each of your accounts with your own description (e.g. Rent Account). This can be useful to help distinguish between multiple accounts of the same type. To change your account name simply select 'Account Details', select 'Account Information', then select the 'My account description' option.
  • Balance - This shows the current balance of your account. This amount includes uncleared funds such as cheques that have not been cleared. For credit cards, the balance figure represents the balance at the close of the previous business day.
  • Available - Shows the available funds that may be withdrawn from your account.   The cash advance limit is the same as your credit limit, over-payments are excluded and not available for cash advance. Withdrawals may not be permitted from some Home Loans, Business Loans and Personal Loans.
