Transferring Funds

How do I transfer funds between my own accounts?
If you have Internet Banking or Phone Banking (Personal Members only) you can transfer funds between your accounts. Alternatively, you can contact our Member Support Centre on 13 19 87.

How can I send funds to another institution within Australia?
If you have Internet Banking you can use the Pay Any One facility to make a payment to an account held with other Australian financial institution. Read more on how to Transfer money.

How can I send funds overseas electronically? 
Read more about sending Telegraphic Transfers or Foreign Drafts.

How can people overseas put money into my Newcastle Permanent account?

You will need to provide the overseas financial institution with the following information:

  • Australian Bank Swift code: ANZBAU3M*
  • ASL Swift Code: ASLLAU2C
  • Newcastle Permanent's BSB Number: 650 000
  • Your Newcastle Permanent account number

The money coming into your account must be in Australian dollars.

* The Australian Bank Swift code is only required if the overseas financial institution doesn't already have an established relationship with any other Australian Bank.

If the funds are coming from the USA, the correspondent Bank is JP Morgan Cash Bank, New York (Swift Code: CHASUS33; Routing No: 021000021)
