Wellness Program

We have partnered with local fitness and health centres to offer our employees a Wellness Program, which is designed to help them lead healthier lives at work and at home. 

Our Wellness Program offers a “Healthy Heart” Check and subsidised membership at local fitness centres (e.g. The Forum in Newcastle), including use of gym and aquatic facilities, group fitness classes and a personal program.

Community Leave

As an organisation with strong ties to the community, we think it is important to support and encourage employees who volunteer within their local community. Our employees can take up to two days paid community leave each year to participate in volunteer work with a recognised charity. This is just another way that we give back to the communities we serve.

Personal and Professional Development

We are committed to providing opportunities for personal and professional growth. We also support our people with job specific training and a range of personal and professional development programs, including management and leadership coaching, and a mentoring program.

Many of our people also undertake external study through our study assistance program. We support employees to further their education by offering reimbursement of expenses and leave provisions for approved external programs.

Workplace Safety

We take occupational health and safety very seriously. We have a dedicated Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) committee whose valuable contribution ensures a healthy and safe working environment for our people. The committee works proactively with our people to identify and manage potential health and safety risks, and is committed to raising awareness about OHS issues within our organisation.
