Autism Spectrum Australia

Playground at Central Coast School for Autism

Autism Spectrum Australia is the largest service provider for people with an autism spectrum disorder in Australia and has been supporting children with autism and their families for over 40 years.

Autism Spectrum has schools and centres across the Sydney metro and NSW regional area including schools at Shortland and Terrigal on the Central Coast.

Autism Spectrum undertook a large-scale building project at its Central Coast School for Children with Autism (Terrigal) with the aim of providing more classrooms and facilities to enable them to assist more children and families in the Central Coast area. As part of this project three new playgrounds are being developed specifically designed for key age groups. The new playgrounds aim to build and enhance student’s fine motor skills, communication skills and social skills.
