New England Regional Art Museum - November 2008
Art Alive New England
New England Regional Art Museum (NERAM) is based in Armidale and attracts approximately 30,000 visitors per year (primarily from the New England Region). As a primary cultural resource for the New England Region, NERAM has the opportunity to contribute a rich program of activities to the entire region through the unique collections it holds, the range of touring exhibitions that it displays from major galleries across the nation and the strength of its educational program.
Funds were sought for the Art Alive New England project, which is an education and outreach program that will engage children and families with arts, culture and the Museum itself. It aims to engage the community, attract new audiences, bring back former audiences and recreate NERAM’s reputation as a vibrant and innovative place.
