The main benefit is that rather than providing cash for a deposit or bond, you can use a Newcastle Permanent guarantee. You are then able to hold onto your cash for other purposes.

We offer the guarantees for a number of purposes including:

• Deposit bonds on property purchases.
• Rental bonds for commercial property leases.
• Council bonds.
• Electricity/Water/Conservation bonds.

Guarantee facilities must be fully secured by:

• Residential property;
• Commercial property; or
• Cash in the form of a fixed term deposit.
